The Solar New Year
2010 is a year for the awakening of all humanity to greater levels of love, when the warrior becomes the dove and our greatest visions can become a reality. On December 21 we celebrated the Solstice, the longest night in the northern hemisphere and the longest day in the southern part of the world. It also marks the beginning of the solar New Year.
New Year’s Eve on December 31 is a very powerful day with the Full Moon in Cancer (home and family). It is called a Blue Moon because it is the second full moon in December. There is also a lunar eclipse, the fourth of 2009. For most it will feel as though our basic realities are being shaken. Because an eclipse supports change, it is a good time to release old structures, especially old family trauma and drama. We are advised to be very mindful of our words, as Mercury is retrograde so communications may be challenging. It may be best to keep these changes on an inner level until we have anchored within us what we really want to see manifest on the outer levels.
This is a powerful time of expansion and if we are flexible, we can allow this expansion to reform our vision. We are in the process of being rewired to express our most authentic selves. 2010 will bring us opportunities to express, or at least discover, our soul’s purpose. We can find others of our soul family and create new collaboration for the work and the sense of family we want to see manifest in our world.
You are being encouraged to find the 4 Cornerstones that hold your world together and strengthen those. Take the time to find your own empowered Truth and Purpose, and make your intentions for this New Year very clear. There is powerful support for their fulfillment.
The remembrance from The Gabriel Messages for this time is:
A full relationship with your Higher Self is possible when you give yourself time to receive love from the deepest sources of your being.

i hear alot putting the sword down and doves and feathers and what not but it’s my understanding that all the archangels, well, the seven angels of the apocolype will indeed all havr swords? this is a spiritual war, no?
Namaste Laurie,
This is not in my realm of study. My understanding of the work the Archangels is more closely tied to their encouragement of the receptivity of all beings to the Light they are flooding onto the earth. By the focus on the empowering presence of Divine Love they offer, we can attract only that which is harmony with the beauty and peace we want to see occurring in our lives. Blessings to you, Shanta
