Here is a question I received this morning on my email. It seemed so relevant that I thought I would post my answer.

“I was hoping I would be in Nirvana today. Nothing happened here today. Was there anything going on where you live? I felt frustrated and let down I was looking forward to feeling differently and very excited. Can you shed any light on what didn’t Happen today Shanta?”

My experience on Monday, December 12, was that lots happened for me. I listened to my own 12:12 meditation twice, and felt moved deeply each time. I did not have a big expectation about the day, although I knew it would be a turning point for our lives. My understanding of the experience is that it is a process that began at the 12:12 and will continue through all next year until 12:12:12.

I have a long history of feeling let down. I have attended many spiritual events and workshops that promised to change my life. I would get very excited, only to feel a letdown and disappointment after each one was over. One of the things that I have seen with my having big expectations is that I will always feel disappointed. Yet over time, it is very obvious that all those events have brought a profound change to my life. And much of what I was taught needed to be brought into a daily practice that allowed me to continue the process in purposeful action.

The prayers I have said and the intentions I brought to my life have also set a course that has allowed a beautiful unfolding, as well as many bumpy times over the years. I can be 66 years old now and look to see how everything that I experienced has been important for my highest soul’s growth in this lifetime. What I have also learned is that it is moving much faster now than ever before!

Archangel Gabriel has been beneficial in my understanding by helping me to calm my emotions so I can be more receptive to the flow of good from Source energy. Receptivity is so essential, and the best way to do that is to take time to find my center and breathe. By being as peaceful as I can, it ALLOWS the energy to work in my life in the most beneficial way.

We are in the process of evolution and the ascension means we are taking our bodies with us. As the physical is the grossest level of manifestation, it takes the longest time. We magnetize to us that which is in our consciousness. When we believe that all is in Divine Order, we are calmly receptive and allow the energy to transform. We begin to see the subtle changes occurring around us in miraculous ways.

It also means paying attention each day to our thoughts and attitudes and bringing Divine Light through us into the Earth. I feel that it is important to be connecting to as much Divine Love in our hearts as we can and radiate this love into the world to change ourselves as well as the consciousness of the Earth. It is called a “Spiritual Practice.”

These times in which we are living are asking us to use all of our spiritual tools to live lives with heart-centered awareness. As important as it is to have peaceful alone time, often it is important to interact with others in order to feel supported in this process of growth. There are millions of people now that are working to bring more light to the planet and be more loving, responsible humans.

When I have an experience of talking with another person who is going through a similar situation or is having fears and symptoms similar to mine, it allows me to lighten up. I can gain a much more expanded perspective when I am not taking it all personally. Working with others helps us all to feel loved and supported in the new energy on earth.

One of my favorite affirmations in life has been, “I now allow others to love and support me.” Try saying that 21 times a day for 21 days, and see what changes in your life.

Although I believe in Spontaneous Evolution and the Hundredth Monkey Affect, it has not happened as quickly as I had hoped …. YET! But the process is working very well and it is in Divine Timing.

Before I received that question this morning, it seems synchronous that I pulled a card from The Gabriel Messages that said: “Without Patience you will never understand the meaning of Divine Timing.” There is a post on this site that expands on that message, if you would like to see it. As a friend of mine says of this time, All is well, all shall be well and all is as it should be in Divine Perfection.

Do you feel like you are waiting for your life to happen? What are you waiting for and what is your attitude while you are waiting? So many people seem to be in the process of waiting: waiting for the perfect mate, a new job, to lose weight, a new house, to get into physical shape, to manifest your soul’s purpose or gain enlightenment. It is all so extended into a future that will not be revealed or manifested until you create a positive focus in your present moment. Living within the power of Positive Potential opens the doorways of the mind to allow a greater flow of empowered creative energy to work through you. And it all is a part of the process called Divine Timing.

Notice a stream that meanders through the woods. During the dry season the leaves and other debris litter the creek bed, making it difficult to see a tiny trickle of water that may still meander along the old route. Sometimes it is underground, but the flow is always there. Then the rains come, a great deluge of water comes from the sky, and all the debris is washed away as torrents of water surge through the creek bed. It may even jump the bank flooding the areas nearby causing damage when the flow begins.

Creative energy comes to you like a cascade of water after the storm. There are times when your life may feel as though you are in a drought, and a barren flatness may pervade your consciousness. Then there are times when the flow of Creative Joy is so strong, it is all you can do to use it productively without becoming overwhelmed. How much more empowering would it be to create channels for this flow of Divine Energy by clearing old debris from your mind ahead of time, opening new pathways and setting new boundaries with your intentions and goals. It is as though you provide a course for the water to flow when the rains come again.

Divine Timing

When you honor Divine Timing, you are recognizing an important distinction in the power of creative energy. You see that it has its own seasons of rest and flow. When you are in a plateau and nothing seems to be working for you, it is a time to rest and practice stillness. During this rest period, you gather momentum and create the channels for the energy to flow when the time is right. It is a good time to explore new possibilities and let your mind and heart begin to work together in new ways. It is a time to set powerful intentions that provide you with Joy and Harmony as you align with your Soul’s Purpose. It is a great time to clean out your closets and drawers to get rid of all you no longer need. As within, so without; as above, so below; all the old adages apply in the spaces between creative flow and open plateaus.

When Divine Timing is at work, and it always is, it requires self-discipline and patience. These are uncomfortable words, especially for a soul born in the West. They are, however, prerequisites for the inner stillness that allows you to hear that quiet voice speaking from your soul. While you wait to manifest that which you so desire, how do you spend your time? One of the most profound imperative actions you can take while you are waiting is to create the Sacred Space for your most treasured, optimum future life to occur. In this place of inner sanctity, your pure intentions for what you want to feel become prayers. In this time and space, your soul becomes nourished by the attention you are giving to alignment with your true purpose.

Restore the Temple of your Heart

By sanctifying your quiet time, you also nourish and restore the temple space of your heart, making it more spacious and light-filled. This sacred time will help your soul re-establish a sanctuary within you, where you can go for inner peace and connection to Source. You will enable the Earth to also be sanctified as you do this sacred practice. Creating sanctity within and around you is a key element for bringing a new world of Peace and Harmony into being in the perfect circle of Life.

Many of the great masters have spoken of the requirement to be aware of your present moment, focused with the totality of your being. The truth of this wisdom lays in the impact of your awareness and the energy you bring to the life you are living now. How are you waiting? Is there impatience churning within you like a racehorse at the starting gate? What is your focus of attention as you wait for your desires to come into form? Is it outside yourself into the world of form, seeing only what is “not there” in your perception, the lack of what you want?

Alignment with your most Divine, Authentic Self

You live in a potent time of heightened energy that can be focused into new realms of thought and purposeful action. Declaring yourself “unfinished” without certain events occurring in your life, clouds your perceptions. It delays your observation of what is really working beautifully as your spirit grows and your soul becomes more aligned with its purpose. Your Soul’s Purpose may indeed have an outer manifestation, yet at the same time it will also have an inner purpose. The growth of your soul is oriented toward Oneness with the Divine Presence. It seeks the alignment of your physical, mental and emotional selves with your most True, Authentic, Eternal, and Divine Self. This inner momentum may cause outer uncertainty, fear and often chaos, as these inner and outer alignments take place.

Living in full integrity with your aligned inner self represents a manifestation of your clear intention. You could say your “microcosmic ducks fall into a row,” which allows your outer world to shift and reveal the macrocosmic demonstration of your inner self. Treat this in between time with respect, knowing that pure creativity is afoot, and you are a part of the Divine Timing that exists in the universal presence of All That Is.

Remember to love and honor yourself during this process of evolution. When you are flying to your destination, it does not make you get there faster when you run up and down the aisles of the plane. The inner work on your self, communion with your soul, and alignment with your process of growth will give you a new perspective. Create the sacred space within and around you and remember, without Patience, you will never know the meaning of Divine Timing.

And so it is.

This timely action will bring great rewards as you till the soil of your life, elevate your thoughts and enhance the beauty around you on many levels.

What does it mean to plant the Spring Garden of your Soul?  It is really very simple. What are the qualities you most want to see manifest in your life? What are your goals and dreams for a joyous future?  What needs have to be met so you can be happy? These are the seeds to plant within the garden of your being.

When you plant the seeds of growth and renewal, it can be a fun, creative and positive way to promote a joyous, abundant life. Consider those things you most want to have thriving in your interior garden. Maybe you would like to plant the tiny seeds that lea to Abundant Prosperity? Perhaps you want Harmony in all your relationships?  What about planting the seeds for Health and Well Being deeply within your heart so they can grow with zest and vibrancy? The soil of joyous potential exists within you and awaits your attention.

Are you too busy to plant your Soul’s garden?

These vast exalted ideas actually require very little time during your busy life, full of commitments and deadlines. In fact, the small amounts of time you give to planting and nurturing your interior garden will enhance every area of your life with a bountiful return. It is said that when a person takes one step towards the Divine, this Higher Power will take ten steps toward you. As you remember that you are a part of all Creation, a new sense of gratitude wells up in your heart. This gratitude carries the sparks of Divine Light that uplift your spirit and become the catalyst for new growth within your life. As you look at the flowering of Nature around you, it can remind you that the same beautiful flowering is taking place within your very being.

Let your imagination soar as you bring forth those magical qualities in which you wish to live. Nothing is too large to dream in order to manifest a happier life. Feeling the joy of creating something fun by dreaming big will raise your vibrational frequency and when this occurs the energy field around you expands. Doors will open that you have not imagined possible. It is your open mind, and a heart unencumbered by doubt and self-criticism, that attracts new growth and evolution into your life. Planting the Spring Garden of your Soul inspires all the help you need to live life in a more joyful way and have your needs met with grace and ease.

How to plant the Garden of your Soul

Since every new project requires some thought and planning, when you begin your inner garden, make it creative and fun. It could be a beautiful work of art with lots of color, magazine pictures or a painting. The shape your interior garden takes could be a pattern that inspires you. You may even decide just to make a list of those qualities of consciousness you want to experience in your life. The action of writing will assist the energy of your garden. The Angels of Creativity are available to work with you in this project, and can inspire you so it will be fun.  When your inner spirit is stimulated in this way, new life flows into your mind and heart, and you feel uplifted. This increased energy flow attracts more joy and you feel happier, which in turn, brings more creative ideas and a sense of wellbeing.  It is the beginning of an upward spiral that blesses this garden within you with new empowered energy. Your life will begin to change in surprising ways.

When you see old patterns of thought and action manifesting, and you begin to feel stuck in problematic energies, consider them to be compost for your new garden. Ask the Angels working in your life to help you pull these weeds and transmute old ways of behavior with Divine Light. This will help feed the garden of your soul with loving energy. It is like adding a little water every day to help work the compost of old ways into the fertile soil of your garden. Soon you will see the new sprouts of a different way of being. Rejoice in this vibrant growth knowing that as you respond differently to old situations, you will receive fresh, positive results in every area of your life. By focusing a little bit every day on what you want to see manifest in your life, you provide a new structure so your interior garden will thrive.

Bask in the Sunlight of Divine Illumination

The Spring Garden of your Soul has amazing potential to bring you the life you want to experience. Opening yourself to new thoughts and behaviors attracts assistance in ways you never knew existed. This beautiful garden thriving within you becomes a Beacon of Light. Many people will love to experience your inner garden and help it grow so it will feed more people. This new growth and thriving space within you reaches out to bless the world, and in turn you will be blessed. As your garden comes into fruition, you will find your life nourished in bountiful ways. The company of Heaven awaits you as you begin planting these seeds for your new life. Bask in the sunlight of Divine Illumination. Breathe it in deeply and let it nurture the new growth within you. Know the Angels will joyously assist you in weeding out the old ways that no longer work so your garden will thrive with new life.

You are never alone.  You are continuously blessed and are being guided as you open to a new way of being.  Let all the frantic activity in your life drop away as Divinely inspired action takes root within the garden of your life. The fullness of your being will enrich your life’s purpose, so your next steps become very clear.  There is a flowering beginning all around you, and within your heart. Allow yourself to be loved and nourished as you plant the Spring Garden of your Soul. This process is bringing a beautiful balance into area of your life.

You are a precious being, worthy of all you aspire to receive. Know deep within your heart that all is well.

And so it is.

Without patience you can never understand the meaning of Divine Timing.

Dear One,

Your presence in the world in a conscious manner leads to the opening of the consciousness of all people.  Your task is to carry the light of love and truth with you wherever you go, no matter what you are doing.  Through this intention you will bring more peace and light into the world.

Being a visionary, you see in your mind that which you wish to accomplish.  It becomes your intention, as if you are taking aim, pulling back the bow and shooting your arrow toward your target.  With this clarity, you will surely reach your mark.  There is, however, the question of when.

At work in the world is the principle of Divine Timing.  It is one of the immutable laws in the universe, such as Divine Order and Divine Justice.  It is not something that  can be pushed at to make it go faster.  There are times when you must wait upon what can be only be considered as Divine Will in order to have your dream manifest in the most appropriate way for the highest good.  This requires patience.  It is sometimes difficult to have patience when you can see your vision so clearly.  Often there is the desire to make it happen now.  This is not God’s will but the ego’s will at work.  You might be able to force the manifestation of certain parts of your vision, but it will not feel right once this occurs.  It will feel as though you are pushing the river.  When all is flowing according to Divine Will, miracles occur.  You can ride the wave of this energy and it feels effortless.

Practice

Imagine that you are at one of those points in your life when you want very badly to have a certain vision manifest.  Let’s say you really want it now but you are struggling against a wall of obstacles.  If you are mentally or emotionally tense, anxious and impatient, anything that you do physically at this point will be pushing at the energy that is already at work.  It is at these times that you must step aside, even though it may be most difficult.  Release your striving, and turn the whole situation over to the Angels and the Divine Presence.

You can assist the manifestation of your dream by simply sitting quietly and breathing in the Light of truth and wisdom.  As you continue to breathe these balanced breaths, see yourself in a pillar of golden light.  In this Divine Light is peace, love and wisdom.  It is that which connects you with Divine Inspiration and the nurturing presence of the earth.  While sitting in this light, in your mind’s eye remember your vision, the dream that you want for your life at this time.  Allow your dream to be energized by this pillar of golden light.  Know in your heart that you always receive that which is in your highest good.  Know that the Angels are blessing you with love and wisdom.  They are blessing all that you need to do in order to have your dream.   Feel this loving presence with you, enfolding you in Love and Light.  Feel peace permeating every fiber of your being.  Know in your heart that all will come to you in perfect Divine Timing.  Give thanks for all the blessings in your life.  Give thanks that this dream is manifesting at its
own perfect and right time for your highest good.  And as you exhale, release this vision to the Divine Spirit and allow this energy to work for you.

This practice will help give you patience and trust in Divine Timing.  With a small amount of conscious effort you can begin to apply these principles to your day to day living and create a life that is filled with more peace, joy and love.  This is the Divine Will for all beings on earth.  Call on the Angels for assistance.  Remember to take time to breathe and receive the knowing in your heart that all is in the flow of Spirit working in your life.
